• Stadium Illuminated Capacitive Switch
• These illuminated capacitive touch switches feature a groundbreaking design that eliminates the need for panel cutouts and intrusion protection concerns. When using these switches, the only things to consider when designing your panel layout are the switch placement and required switch size. The device can be easily attached to glass, clear acrylic, plastic, or similar panel sheets with your desired design printed on them. The switch functions as full RGB illumination, illuminating uniformly through the panel. Because it illuminates through the panel, no panel cutouts are required. This design offers several advantages beyond eliminating the need for O-rings and mounting nuts. For example, if the front panel mounted in the enclosure is sealed, the surface remains smooth and easy to clean. The panel can be wiped clean with disinfectant (ensure it's compatible with the print), and there's no need to worry about switch seal corrosion, making it ideal for medical applications. Intrusion protection is not an issue if the panel mounted in the enclosure is sealed. These devices have an ultra-low profile, making them ideal for use in portable devices. It operates over a wide voltage range of 6 to 28 V dc to fit most panel circuits. Pre-wired cables are available separately for quick connection; see part number 823-2252. • Panel requirements
• The 20 mm version of the switch can be used with panels up to 7 mm thick, and the 35 mm version can be used with panels up to 11 mm thick. The 35 mm version also features sensitivity adjustment.
