FlexiCap™ was developed in response to customer feedback about stress damage to MLCCs A unique flexible epoxy polymer termination material that is applied to devices under normal nickel barrier terminations FlexiCap™ can tolerate larger bending angles than conventional capacitors An additional benefit of FlexiCap™ is that MLCCs can withstand over 1000 temperature cycles from -55 to 125 oC without cracking FlexiCap™ can be soldered using conventional wave or reflow soldering techniques, with no adjustments required for equipment or current handling
