NiGK UV-M is a single-use, self-adhesive paper disc that changes color irreversibly when exposed to ultraviolet light. It provides a visual record of UV dose without requiring instruments or power sources.
Irreversibility means once the paper turns pink under UV exposure, it cannot revert to its original white color. This permanent color change serves as an unalterable evidence of UV irradiation.

UV-M is calibrated to change color permanently at around 5.5 J/cm² of UV energy. It’s suitable for monitoring medium-level UV cures and germicidal applications where verification of a minimum dose is critical.

Peel a disc from its backing and place it on a flat surface or directly on the object.
Expose the disc to the UV source at the recommended distance and duration.
Observe the color shift from white to pink.
Compare against a reference swatch or color scale to confirm the dose.
Light pink indicates exposure near the threshold dose.
Medium to deep pink shows exposure above the threshold.
No change means the UV dose was below the sensitivity point.
Store unused packs in a cool, dark, and dry environment. Avoid direct sunlight and humid areas. Use within 12 months of the manufacture date stamped on the foil pouch for reliable performance.
No. UV-M is designed for one-time use. Once it changes color, it cannot revert or be recalibrated.
Each foil pouch contains 100 discs, individually die-cut and mounted on release liner. The pouch is light-proof to prevent premature exposure.
Wear UV protective eyewear and gloves when handling UV sources.
