Description
- It has excellent heat resistance and can be reused by high-pressure steam sterilization.
- The water evaporation rate is less than half that of a cotton plug, so abnormal concentration of the culture medium and changes in pH are reduced.
- It has excellent chemical resistance and can be washed and disinfected with boiling water.
- Being hydrophobic, bacteria do not grow at the seal with the container.
- With an aeration rate of 30 to 120 mL/min, the amount of water evaporation is small, preventing the medium from drying out.
