Description

It has excellent heat resistance and can be reused by high-pressure steam sterilization.
The water evaporation rate is less than half that of a cotton plug, so abnormal concentration of the culture medium and changes in pH are reduced.
It has excellent chemical resistance and can be washed and disinfected with boiling water.
Being hydrophobic, bacteria do not grow at the seal with the container.
With an aeration rate of 30 to 120 mL/min, the amount of water evaporation is small, preventing the medium from drying out.
