3/ Applications
Cleanroom ceilings and drop-in modules for semiconductor, optics, or pharmaceuticals.
Filtered air supply to biosafety cabinets, laboratory hoods, and medical analyzers.
Mobile filtration stands for local clean zones.
Assembly lines requiring localized Class 100 air quality.
Air enters through a Saran mesh pre-filter that captures coarse particulates. It then passes through the HEPA module, which traps ≥ 99.99 % of particles ≥ 0.3 μm. The DC brushless fan sustains a steady outflow at ~ 0.51 m/s across the discharge face. This laminar sheet of purified air maintains a particle-free zone beneath the unit.
Class 100 (Fed-Std-209E) equates to ISO 5, permitting no more than 100 particles ≥ 0.5 μm per cubic foot of air. This level of cleanliness is mandatory for precision electronics, sterile drug production, and nanotechnology research. Compliance ensures minimal particulate contamination in critical processes.
Airflow Rate: 10.0 m³/min (≈ 167 L/s).
Outlet Velocity: ~ 0.51 m/s measured at the filter face.
Delivers uniform, unidirectional flow to sustain local clean zones withoutturbulence.
The unit employs a DC brushless motor known for high efficiency and long life. It draws approximately 65 W at full load and connects to a single-phase AC source (100 V 50/60 Hz standard, 200 V optional). Low power demand reduces operating costs.
Operating at ~ 55 dBA at 1 m from the discharge face, the MAC-IIA-101 is suitable for quiet laboratory or production environments. Power consumption remains around 65 W during maximum airflow, offering an energy-efficient solution.
The 610 × 610 × 185 mm footprint fits standard 600 × 600 mm ceiling grids. Weighing ~ 12 kg, it can be suspended in ceiling modules or mounted on dedicated frames. Simply secure the unit, connect power, and verify positive‐pressure airflow.
Energize the unit and allow the fan to ramp up (2–3 seconds).
Confirm the status LED indicates normal operation.
Monitor the discharge velocity periodically with an anemometer.
Maintain unobstructed inlet and outlet clearances for optimal performance.
Pre-filter (Saran mesh): clean or replace every 3–6 months depending on dust loading.
HEPA filter: replace every 12–18 months or when differential pressure exceeds 250 Pa.
Inspect gaskets and sealing frames quarterly for air bypass prevention.
The HEPA element complies with EN 1822:2009 and achieves ≥ 99.99 % efficiency at 0.3 μm. The housing and motor adhere to RoHS directives, and CE/UL certification is available per configuration. All electrical components meet international safety requirements.
Mechanical and electrical components: 12 months.
Full technical documentation, user manuals, and replacement parts provided through QTE Technologies (qtetech.com/en).
ULPA filter option (≥ 99.999 % @ 0.12 μm) for ISO 4–5 applications.
Alternate airflow models: 5 m³/min, 15 m³/min, and 25 m³/min in the MAC-IIA series.
Custom voltage configurations and integrated control modules available upon request.
