The TAC MD-18 is a flexible, heat-resistant air duct featuring a reinforcing core of aluminum foil, glass cloth, and galvanized steel sheet. It’s designed for intake/exhaust in air-conditioning, hot-air generation, and industrial ventilation systems.

Yes. TAC MD-18 can be freely extended and contracted to facilitate cutting, storage, and transport. However, avoid repeated stretching and contracting to prevent material fatigue.

- Bend the duct no tighter than its 210mm minimum radius, then secure with stainless-steel clamps or duct collars.
- After installation, run a pressure and leak test under working temperature to confirm airtightness and structural integrity.
- Lifespan depends on how often the duct is stretched/compressed and environmental conditions.
- Inspect periodically for tears, punctures, or corrosion on the outer steel layer - patch or replace sections as needed.
- Clean the aluminum cloth surface with a dry cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that could degrade the glass fiber.
