What is an axial fan?
An axial fan is a device that uses a motor to rotate blades housed in a square or circular frame to create airflow. The rotating fan blades draw air into the fan, force it over a surface, and expel it in the same direction for cooling. Axial fans are a critical component in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and electronic equipment. Cooling equipment is important because overheating can have serious consequences, including premature component degradation, shortened lifespan, and sometimes complete failure.

Sunon's DR (Dust-Resistant) mAgLev DC axial fan products offer cost-effective solutions for all your cooling requirements. DRmAglev fans are developed using magnetic levitation technology to provide high performance, low noise, and long life. The Vapo bearing system and shaft never come into contact during operation, resulting in zero friction no matter how the fan is mounted. Additionally, DRmAglev fans use innovative Seal and Clip (S;C) and Blank and Seamless (B;S) technologies, enhancing dust resistance and oil leakage prevention. DRmAglev axial fans also incorporate an auto-restart function.
What is Blank and Seamless Technology?
Blank and Seamless Technology (B;S) protects the fan by preventing oil leakage. Retaining lubrication is essential to keeping the Vapo bearings working properly.
What is Seal and Clip Technology?
Seal and Clip Technology (S;C) is a technology developed to enhance motor performance and prevent dust intrusion, thereby extending motor life.
What is Automatic Restart?
If the motor is locked and power continues to be supplied, the coil temperature may rise. The auto-restart feature temporarily cuts power to the motor to prevent unnecessary temperature rise. Once the locked fan rotor is freed, the fan will restart.

How is the fan mounted?
There are 4 x 4.3mm holes in the four corners of the outer frame of the fan.
How are the fans connected?
The electrical connection is made using two 26 AWG wires, 300mm long (red +) (black -).
Are there any accessories available?
Finger guards are available separately. See part number 544-0964. Finger guards are designed to prevent contact with rotating parts.
