SKF flexible couplings consist of two flanges and one tire. Each sold separately.
SKF flexible couplings
SKF flexible couplings are designed to accommodate misalignment and shock loads and to reduce vibration levels. Easy to install and virtually maintenance free. With holes machined to size or tapered. Couplings with tapered bores are face (F) mounted or hub (H) mounted. The Reversible(R) design is even more flexible and can be hub or face mounted, depending on the application. Additionally, standard size spacer flanges are available for applications that require axial movement of the shaft without impacting the machine. The flanges are phosphate coated for added corrosion resistance. SKF flexible tires are made from natural rubber and are ideal for applications in the -50 to +50 °C temperature range. Chloroprene rubber tires are suitable for temperatures from -15 to +70 °C. Used in applications where fire resistance and anti-static (FRAS) properties are required. This product is ideal for applications where contact with grease or oil may occur.
