Performance based on BS6840:Part 17:1991 and IEC268-17:1990, which specify dynamic characteristics, frequency response, harmonic distortion, input impedance, and temperature range. Calibrated for use with a 3.6kΩ resistor 4VU above the scale marking. Therefore, the reference distortion (0VU) is generated at 600Ω (1.228 V) with a signal of over 1mW at 4VU.
Features a molded transparent acrylic front body and a polystyrene (SAN) rear body; various bezels are available separately. The tote-band core magnet movement, housed in a 26mm diameter barrel, requires minimal space behind the panel. Rear zero adjustment screw. 6mm tag terminal connection (high-performance - M4 bolt terminal). When mounted on a metal panel, the meter is not subject to calibration interference. Black ABS front and rear panel mounting bezels are sold separately. Dual meter scales (-20 to 3 dB and 0 to 100%). Rear-mounted 12V bulb top light assembly can be used with the rear-mounted meter. Operating temperature range: -25 to +55°C. Panel cutout for 27mm barrel, fixing stud size M2.5 x 10mm.
