The HSG-205 is a compact, portable vertical wet grinder designed for sharpening household cutting tools—kitchen knives, scissors, sickles and various cutlery. It features a timing‐belt drive for smooth, vibration‐free operation and a motor power‐monitor switch for consistent grinding force.

It uses a dedicated WA #1000 abrasive wheel (Ø205 × 30 mm, hole Ø15.88 mm). To replace:
Unplug the machine.
Use the supplied 10 mm and 23 mm spanners to loosen the wheel nut.
Remove the old wheel and install the new one.
Re‐tighten the nut, ensuring the wheel runs true before use.
The machine includes a water‐flow adjustment tap mounted on the body. Turn it clockwise to increase flow and counterclockwise to decrease. Flush the water channel regularly to prevent sediment buildup and ensure even cooling during wet grinding.

After each session, drain and rinse the water reservoir.
Wipe away any slurry or metal filings from the guard and wheel housing.
Inspect and replace carbon brushes when worn.
Lubricate spindle bearings annually or after heavy use.
Always wear safety goggles and cut‐resistant gloves.
Keep long hair tied back and avoid loose clothing or jewelry.
Maintain at least a 10 cm distance between hands and the rotating wheel.
Do not exceed 30 minutes of continuous use; allow a 10–15 minute cool‐down period.
Machine overheats: Verify continuous‐use limit and rest machine as needed.
Wheel wobble: Check wheel nut torque and inspect wheel for cracks.
Reduced motor power: Inspect and replace worn carbon brushes, ensure proper voltage supply.
Irregular water flow: Clean or replace the water‐flow tap to remove obstructions.
