Description

Type 4116 - Universal Transmitter
The 4116 Universal Transmitter linearizes electronic temperature measurements with RTD or TC sensors.
The transmitter also converts linear resistance variations into standard analog current/voltage signals.
Solenoid valves and butterfly valves, i.e. linear operation with an attached potentiometer, are examples of valves that can be converted.
Process calibration, signal and relay simulation, password protection, error diagnostics and some help texts can be programmed in several languages via the detachable display front (4501).
The 4116 is designed according to stringent safety requirements and is therefore suitable for installations up to SIL 2 level.
