EtherCon(R) RJ45 connection
These Neutrik EtherCon RJ45 connectors have a plug housed in a die-cast shell. This shell mates with a matching receptacle in the same manner as a typical XLR connector. This allows EtherCon RJ45 plugs and sockets to form a robust and positive mating that is not always achievable with typical RJ45 connections. All models boast high reliability and excellent quality.

"FDV" version uses a front flange similar to Neutrik's integrated XLR connector
