PowerCat System "Category 5E" 4-pair patch cords available in various colors and lengths, ideal for high-speed transmission systems, especially for use with Molex Premise Network cables
High performance structural wiring components designed to significantly exceed Category 5 requirements and suitable for use in:
100Base - T4 Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base - T) 155 Mbps ATM 622 Mbps ATM Crosstalk in a 4-pair PowerCat system is measured by adding the sum of the power factors of 3 pairs (power sum) to 4 pairs. Traditional pair-to-pair measurements cannot measure cumulative crosstalk in transmissions of multiple pairs. The resulting crosstalk performance is significantly better than traditional Category 5 systems, with higher bandwidth due to improved ACR (attenuation-to-crosstalk ratio). The link characteristics of the PowerCat system allow for outstanding performance in high speed applications (see above) The PowerCat system comes with all necessary basic components including panels and patch leads.
