Description

This is the most commonly used caliper.
The scale surface is stepped to prevent dirt from getting between the main scale and the slider.
The vernier scale surface has a gentle inclination (14°) making it easy to read.
The head end face of the main scale and slider is set as the 0 base point (measurement surface), making it possible to measure steps.
Standard calipers can perform four types of measurements: outside, inside, depth, and step.
The carbide tip type is ideal for measuring rough-machined products, castings, grinding wheels, etc.

Upon request, we can also manufacture gauges with carbide tips on the inner and outer measuring surfaces with maximum measuring lengths of 200 mm and 300 mm.
