Improve work efficiency
By increasing the volume and power of hot air, the same work effect can be achieved in approximately one-third of the time compared to conventional methods, and the thermal impact on circuit boards and components can be reduced.
* Both the temperature and airflow were set to maximum, and the time it takes for a connector soldered onto a ceramic board to heat up to 200°C was verified.
Evolution points of FR-810B
The FR-810B maintains the high output and large air volume that were the hallmarks of the conventional FR-810, while adding two new features: a vacuum pickup and a pickup indicator.
The risks involved in SMD rework include damaging the board with tweezers when removing the component from the board, or lifting the component and peeling off the land when the solder is not yet fully melted. The two new functions of the FR-810B make it possible to remove components without damaging the land on the board.
Improved temperature characteristics with the adoption of a new nozzle
By providing a hole in the top of the nozzle, hot air convection occurs inside the nozzle, allowing the outside and center of the nozzle to be heated evenly, improving workability (BGA nozzle only).
Equipped with vacuum pickup function
The vacuum pickup allows the component to be picked up by suction. Once the component is picked up, the spring mechanism lifts it up when the solder melts. This prevents mistakes such as forcibly pulling up the component and peeling off the land.
Pickup timing is clear at a glance! Pickup indicator
By setting the vacuum pick-up function in advance, when the solder melts and the component is automatically picked up, an indicator will rise up, allowing you to see the moment the component is picked up.
Even if the component is hidden by the nozzle and it is not possible to see the moment the solder melts, it is possible to easily and safely pick up the component because it is clear that removal has been completed.
Easy removal nozzle & maintenance
Nozzles can be quickly replaced to suit a wide variety of parts.
The heater can be easily and reliably replaced.
Conventional nozzles can also be used
By aligning the screw fastening part with the convex part and attaching it, you can use a conventional nozzle.
Timer function for constant working time
This prevents parts from overheating and makes repetitive work easy.

Preset link function allows simple profile creation
By connecting the timer function and the registered preset mode, you can create a simple temperature profile (up to 5 steps can be created). The working time is constant, preventing overheating of parts and making it easier to repeat work, and it also supports advanced removal work. Workability is greatly improved.
Auto sleep/auto shutoff function
Designed with safety and energy saving in mind. When the iron is placed in the iron holder, the auto sleep function is activated, the cool down starts, and the tool automatically goes into standby mode. In addition, if no operation is performed for 30 minutes, the auto shutoff function is activated and the tool also goes into standby mode. Access to various settings can be restricted by password setting, making management easy.
Low-cost rework system can be constructed as an option
By using the grip fixture, board holder, and bottom heater, a low-cost rework system can be constructed, enabling further standardization of work.
