All-pole sine wave filters offer excellent EMC properties as they minimize both conducted and radiated interference. They are suitable for applications such as filtering drives such as elevators, fans, pumps and compressors in demanding environments. This includes healthcare facilities, measurement laboratories, the IT or residential sector. Further application areas include spatially extended drive systems such as tunnels, wind farms or mines, where long screened cables often need to be installed. The use of all-pole sine wave filters therefore eliminates the expense and complexity of installing screened cables.
