6/ How does the operating cycle work?

6.4/ When the lamp turns blue then goes off, and you hear a peep, release the table to complete the seal.

7/ How do I adjust sealing time?

Use the time-adjuster knob on top of the unit to select the appropriate dwell time. It’s best to run a test seal on a sample bag and fine-tune before starting a production batch.

8/ What heating elements are provided?

The FS-315 ships with a 5mm heating element installed. A spare 2mm element is stored in the parts cover, allowing you to switch for thinner films or narrower seals.

9/ What safety features are built in?

- Automatic circuit shut-off after about 3 seconds of continuous heating in case of timer malfunction

- Microswitch position sensor to prevent heating unless the table is fully pressed down

- Impulse sealing - no preheating required, minimizing burn risk

10/ What maintenance is required?

- Wipe away film residue on the sealing bar and table surface after each use

- Loosen the plastic nuts to remove the table, then replace the fluoroglass sheet or heating element as needed
