Description

Freudenberg shaft seal
Simmering rotary shaft seals are high performance oil seals that provide excellent wear resistance and performance for a wide variety of applications including aerospace, rail, power transmission, automotive, machine tools, fluid handling, production lines, energy and power generation. With an elastomeric outer casing consisting of NBR902 nitrile rubber and a spring-loaded lip seal, they can be used with mineral, synthetic oils and greases. Simmering radial seals offer significantly improved protection against seal wear, heat and friction build-up, reducing power losses and lowering operating costs, as well as extending service life and reducing costly downtime due to seal repairs. Suitable for replacing R21 and in some cases R4 seals (see manufacturer's datasheet). Ideal for a wide range of applications including axles, power tools, industrial gearboxes, motors and pumps.
