Description

This is a 3D illumination kit that uses LEDs (light-emitting diodes). It uses 27 LEDs in total in four colors: red, green, blue, and yellow. The LEDs are arranged in a cylindrical shape and can be lit up to decorate a desk or other object.
The microcontroller used is Microchip's PIC16F1827. By rewriting the microcontroller program (※1), you can create your own original lighting patterns.
The LED section can be separated and attached directly to the microcontroller board "Arduino UNO", and the lighting pattern can also be programmed (※2).
The manual explaining how to program can be downloaded free of charge from our website.
*1 Microchip's MPLAB X, XC8 compiler, PICkit3, etc. are required for microcontroller programming.
*2 To program Arduino, a separate development environment such as Arduino UNO or Arduino IDE is required.
This kit was developed and commercialized as a joint development project between EK Japan Co., Ltd. and Fukuoka Prefectural Fukuoka Technical High School.
