The IMC series is designed for industrial applications where heat, dust, moisture, common oils and chemicals are prevalent. The series provides compact, multiple connections where space is limited. These connectors are ideal for test equipment, industrial sensors, medical equipment, and instrumentation and control systems.
Plugs and receptacles can be fitted with crimp pins or sockets to help prevent strain on the cable.
What is a Cable Mount Housing?
Cable plug and panel socket mating configurations are available, and cable sockets can be used to provide in-line cable plug connections. Panel sockets allow flange or jam nut mounting on panels up to 4mm thick. To maintain connector specifications, we recommend using Daniels 8 point crimping tools and turrets (see compatibility chart). Daniels AF8 (part numbers 314-7584 314-7584 ) and MH860 (part numbers 314-8408 314-8408 ) are high quality 8 indent crimping tools. The AF8 will crimp wire sizes 12-20 (12-26awg wire range). The MH860 will crimp wire sizes 16-22 (16-28awg wire range).
This product is made from Ultem for maximum heat resistance. Ultem is a strong, robust and rigid material. It has gold plated contacts to prevent oxidation and prevent tarnishing.
