/ What gas is the SRA-A regulator designed for? The SRA-A model is specifically engineered for acetylene use and should not be used with any other gases to ensure safety and performance.
/ What outlet pressure range can be set? The outlet (secondary) pressure is adjustable between 0.01 MPa and 0.13 MPa, ideal for low-pressure welding and cutting applications.
/ What’s the maximum allowable inlet pressure? The inlet (primary) pressure must not exceed 2.5 MPa; operating above this limit may damage the regulator and compromise safety.
/ What flow rate does the regulator support? At an inlet pressure of 0.05 MPa, the SRA-A can deliver approximately 2 m³/h of acetylene gas.
/ How do I connect the regulator to my system? The inlet port features a male thread M16 × P1.5 on the left side. The outlet connects to a low-pressure supply hose. Always ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks.
/ Does it include a pressure gauge and flame arrester? Yes. The SRA-A comes integrated with a pressure gauge and a flame arrester to prevent flashback into the regulator and cylinder.
/ How does the SRA-A maintain stable outlet pressure? A free-slide piston is compressed by an adjustable spring. Turning the adjustment screw changes spring tension, modulating flow area and holding outlet pressure constant despite flow variations.
/ How do I adjust the outlet pressure? Rotate the adjustment knob to increase or decrease spring force. Monitor the pressure gauge until you reach the desired outlet pressure, then lock the knob in place.
/ What installation precautions should I follow?
- Clean the piping of debris that might jam the piston.10/ What maintenance schedule is recommended? Inspect and recalibrate the pressure gauge, verify piston and spring condition every 6 months or after 1000 operating hours. Replace any worn components promptly.
/ Which spare parts are available? Genuine CHIYODA SEIKI spare parts include diaphragms, springs, O-rings, and replacement pressure gauges. Please contact QTE Technologies (qtetech.com/en) for compatibility and safety.
/ Where is the SRA-A manufactured? The SRA-A is made in Japan under strict JIS standards, guaranteeing durability and high precision in industrial environments.
/ What warranty does the SRA-A carry? Please contact QTE Technologies (qtetech.com/en): https://qtetech.com/en/warranty-policy
/ What is the part number and how do I order? The model number is SRA-A (part code 111-67233). Please click on Request a quote in the link to unlock the Best Price and Delivery Date.
