1/ What are the inlet and outlet pressure specifications?
The regulator accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 15.0 MPa and provides an adjustable outlet pressure from 0.1 to 0.3 MPa.
2/ Which gases can be used with the BHN3-2?
It’s compatible with oxygen (O₂), nitrogen (N₂), argon (Ar) and clean air.
3/ How does the two-stage pressure regulation work?
The first stage reduces high inlet pressure roughly to an intermediate level, and the second stage fine-tunes the outlet pressure. This dual-stage design maintains a stable outlet even if the primary pressure fluctuates significantly.
4/ What is the maximum flow rate?
Up to 100 L/min, making it suitable for most laboratory and industrial gas supply needs.
5/ What material is the body made from?
The body is constructed from SRS-HS brass, offering high corrosion resistance and durability.
6/ What connection ports does it have?
Inlet: W22×1/14 right-hand cap nut (14 mountains)
Outlet: Rc 1/4 threaded valve
7/ How should I install and calibrate the regulator?
Mount it immediately downstream of a particulate filter and moisture trap to ensure clean gas.
Tighten all fittings, check for leaks, then adjust the outlet pressure via the fine-tuning knob while observing the outlet gauge.
8/ How do I maintain the BHN3-2 for long-term reliability?
Periodically clean around the piston and spring areas to remove debris.
Inspect seals and gauges for wear or damage.
Avoid exceeding the rated inlet (15 MPa) or outlet (0.3 MPa) pressures.
9/ What optional accessories are available?
In-line particulate and coalescing filters
Quick-connect couplings
Additional downstream pressure gauges
Adapters for PT, NPT or G-threaded fittings
