The FT800 Embedded Video Engine (EVE) redefines the cost and quality paradigm of Graphical User Interface (GUI) development.
With three-in-one capabilities of display, audio and touch operation, engineers can now easily create cutting edge interactive display systems.
EVE's object-oriented approach renders images line by line, at 1/16th pixel resolution, without the use of traditional frame buffer memory.
It initializes object memory and creates and manipulates small display list buffers to control objects and their attributes.
This is a process that can be accomplished even on a low-end 8-bit CPU.
The built-in audio controller can play MIDI-like sounds and PCM audio.
EVE comes with a set of useful fonts and sounds written into the ROM for various uses.
