The BOEHM JLB260PACC is a professional-grade gasket cutting tool from France that includes 34 hollow punches ranging from 2mm to 60mm, plus accessories for cutting seals, washers, and discs up to 60mm. It also doubles as a circular cutter for diameters up to 420mm when used with the Ø420mm cutting tool rod.
- 34 hollow punches (2 - 60mm)
- 1 ergonomic striking handle (for chuck)
- 1 chuck compatible with Ø2 - 50mm and 1/8″ - 2″ punches
- 1 retractable centering pin
- 1 rod for Ø420mm circular cutter with blade
- 1 extra stainless-steel blade
- 1 Allen key for blade replacement
This composition ensures quick setup, twinning of punches for ring cuts, and simple blade changes.
The set contains hollow punches in these 34 sizes (in mm):
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60.
The hollow punches and circular cutter can cleanly cut:
- Rubber and elastomers (gaskets, O-rings)
- Plastic sheets and film
- Leather and fabrics
- Cardboard and paperboard
- Foam, gasket-making materials, and light composites
This versatility makes it ideal for maintenance, prototyping, and workshop use.
A patented dampening mechanism in the reinforced impact head absorbs up to 50% of the recoil energy, reducing hand fatigue and improving strike precision. It extends tool life by minimizing stress on the handle and chuck assembly.
- Remove the hollow punch chuck from the handle.
- Insert the Ø420mm rod with blade into the same chuck.
- Retract or extend the centering pin as needed for positioning.
- Secure the assembly with the chuck’s setscrew.
This dual-use feature lets you cut large-diameter gaskets (60 - 420mm) without needing a separate tool.
Punches lock onto the chuck via a spur-style engagement:
- Slide the punch shank into the chuck until it clicks.
- Tighten the setscrew if extra retention is needed.
- To twin (cut a ring), install two punches side by side and strike simultaneously.
This system ensures quick changes and consistent concentric cuts.
The centering pin:
- Centers the punch before striking for accurate hole placement.
- Acts as a pivot when using the Ø420mm circular cutter to maintain constant radius.
It stows inside the handle when not in use, keeping the kit compact.
- Use the included Allen key to loosen the blade-holding screw on the Ø420mm rod.
- Remove the worn blade, position the new blade in the slot.
- Retighten the screw firmly - do not overtighten to avoid stripping.
Blade swaps take under a minute and restore cutting performance.
- After each use, clear burrs and debris from punches and blades.
- Lightly oil metal parts to prevent corrosion.
- Inspect blade edges and replace at first sign of dulling.
- Store the set in its lacquered metal box, away from moisture and impacts.
- Always wear safety glasses to guard against flying chips.
- Use gloves to protect hands from sharp edges.
- Secure your workpiece to prevent slippage.
- Keep fingers clear of the punch/jaw area when striking.
- Never strike with a cracked or damaged handle.
The complete kit weighs approximately 5.5 kg and is housed in a powder-coated metal box with foam compartments. A millimeter ruler printed on the lid lets you preset punch diameters instantly without external tools.
