BLE121LR Bluetooth 4.0 Smart long-distance communication module
The BLE121LR Bluegiga is a Bluetooth Smart long-range communication module ideal for applications requiring superior RF performance and range. With +8 dBm TX power and -98 dBm sensitivity, the BLE121LR brings Bluetooth Smart connectivity to distances of up to 450 meters. The Bluetooth module integrates key features of Bluetooth Smart applications, including Bluetooth radio, software stack and GATT-based profiles, and can act as a host for end-user applications. This means that an external microcontroller is no longer required for size- or price-constrained devices. It has low power consumption and runs on a standard 3 V coin cell battery.
